Peace be upon you.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may Allah protect him):

Magic is an act that affects the body, heart, or mind of the bewitched. Therefore, merely claiming to perform magic during play, knowing that the other party understands it is just a game and is not affected by it, is not forbidden.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani (may Allah protect him):

Magic refers to what causes one to fall into illusion through overpowering sight, hearing, or other senses. Thus, merely claiming to perform magic during play, while the other party knows it is just a game and does not fall into illusion, is not forbidden.
