Discovering Impurity on Clothing After Prayer

A question regarding the ruling on discovering dry semen on trousers after performing a prayer.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani (may God protect him):

If a person was unaware of the impurity and did not know about it until after completing the prayer, there is no need for them to repeat the prayer within the time frame or make it up later, provided they were not in doubt about the impurity before starting the prayer or if they had doubts and checked but did not gain certainty about it. However, if someone was in doubt and did not investigate, it is obligatory (as a precaution) for them to repeat the prayer and make it up if they discovered the impurity after the prayer.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may God protect him):

If someone does not know that praying with an impure body or clothing invalidates the prayer, and they pray while being impure, their prayer is invalid, unless they were forgetful or had a genuine lack of knowledge, meaning they had no reason to suspect that praying with an impure body or clothing was invalid. However, if they did not know their body or clothing was impure and realized it after the prayer, their prayer is valid. If they were aware of the impurity beforehand and forgot, then their prayer is invalid.
