Ayatollah Al-Sistani (may Allah protect him):
If you intended to perform the ritual ghusl for your head and body, and the water covered all of your skin, even if you did not follow the order correctly due to a lack of knowledge, then you have no obligation.
However, if you did not intend to perform the ghusl or if the water did not cover your entire body, you must make up the prayers you performed while in a state of janabah (impurity). As for fasting, you do not need to make it up.
It appears from your question that at some point you heard about the rules of ghusl but neglected them; thus, you must repeat the prayers you performed while in a state of janabah, as this was not due to ignorance but rather negligence. As for fasting, if you were not in doubt about the validity of your fast without ghusl, then you have no expiation to make.

Ayatollah Al-Khamenei (may Allah protect him):
If you performed the washing of the head and neck, then the right side of the body, and afterward the left side (which is recommended), your ghusl is valid; otherwise, it is invalid, and you must repeat it and make up the prayers you performed with it. As for fasting, if you believed your ghusl was valid, your fast is considered valid in this case.
