Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani (may God protect him):
It is permissible for one person to act as an agent for both parties, and it is also permissible for a man to act as an agent for a woman to marry her to himself, whether in a permanent or temporary marriage. However, it is recommended to avoid having one person represent both parties in the contract.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may God protect him):
The stronger opinion is that it is permissible for one person to represent both sides of the contract, being the offeror and acceptor from one side and an agent from the other, or having authority from both sides or acting as an agent for both. However, it is preferable, if possible, for both parties to be represented separately, especially when the husband is acting as both the offeror and the agent for the wife in a temporary marriage, as this may raise some issues, though they are not significant. Nonetheless, caution should not be neglected in this matter.
