Peace be upon you. There are two aspects to consider: the possibility of such an event occurring and the evidence supporting it. Regarding the first aspect, we find that the Quran and narrations indicate the possibility of miraculous events, such as Jesus speaking from the cradle or stones speaking in the hand of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Therefore, there is no basis for doubt or denial. As for the second aspect, we must refer to the narrations that discuss the head speaking and whether they are found in our sources. Indeed, there are narrations, such as one reported by Sheikh Al-Mufid in 'Al-Irshad', where Zaid ibn Arqam mentions hearing the head of Hussein reciting a verse. Furthermore, the esteemed scholar Sayyid Ja'far Murtada has addressed similar questions, affirming that the narration of the head speaking and the light emanating from it is present and cannot be dismissed as exaggeration without evidence. It is also noted that some who demand proof for such claims often fail to provide evidence for their own denials. The head is reported to have spoken verses from the Quran and other texts, as documented in various credible sources. We should be cautious that dismissing such events as exaggerations may lead to questioning other miraculous occurrences in Islamic history. Finally, it is narrated by Al-Kulayni from Imam Al-Baqir that those who reject such narrations without understanding may be distancing themselves from the truth. May you be guided to all that is good.
