Peace be upon you.

Ayatollah Khamenei (may Allah protect him):

If one sees a doubtful moisture after urination and istibra, not knowing whether it is urine or something else, it is deemed pure and does not invalidate wudu (ablution) if one performed wudu before it came out. However, if one did not perform istibra, it is deemed impure and does invalidate wudu. This is the benefit of istibra. It is also applicable in cases of prolonged duration and significant movement, where one can be certain that nothing remains in the passage and that the doubtful moisture came from above, thus it is deemed pure and does not invalidate wudu.

Therefore, since the istibra was not completed, one must rule it as impure unless there was significant movement and prolonged waiting, leading to certainty that nothing remains in the passage.

Ayatollah Sistani (may Allah protect him):

The benefit of istibra is the purity of the moisture that comes out afterward if it is suspected to be urine, and wudu is not required from it. If the doubtful moisture resembling urine comes out before istibra, it is assumed to be urine, and purification and wudu are required.

Since istibra was not completed, the moisture is ruled as impure.

May you be successful in all good.
