Reciting Takbir three times after the final Tashahhud is a recommended practice after prayer.
Ayatollah Khamenei (may God protect him):
Tasleem is the last part of the prayer, and it concludes the prayer. The obligatory Tasleem in prayer is the phrase: "As-salamu 'alaykum," and it is preferable to add: "wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh" to it, or to say: "As-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadillah as-salihin."
If someone forgets the Tasleem and remembers it before doing anything that invalidates the prayer, such as turning away from the Qibla, they must perform the Tasleem, and their prayer is valid.

Ayatollah Sistani (may God protect him):
Tasleem is obligatory in every prayer and is the last part of it, and through it, one exits the prayer and is permitted to engage in activities that are otherwise prohibited. There are two phrases for Tasleem: the first is (As-salamu 'alayna wa 'ala 'ibadillah as-salihin) and the second is (As-salamu 'alaykum) with the addition of (wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh) being the more cautious option. It is also strongly recommended not to omit the second phrase even if one has recited the first. It is preferable to combine both, but if one recites the second first, they may stop there. The phrase (As-salamu 'alayka ayyuhan-nabi wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh) is not a form of Tasleem and does not conclude the prayer; rather, it is recommended.
If someone forgets the Tasleem until they perform an action that invalidates the prayer, their prayer is valid, although it is recommended to repeat it.
