Ayatollah Khamenei and Ayatollah Sistani (may Allah protect them):
It is not permissible for a husband to insult, curse, or hit his wife, even if he is angry over trivial matters. Hitting a woman is not allowed at all, except in cases of her disobedience and refusal to fulfill her duties, and only if there is no other solution, and the hitting is not severe; otherwise, he must pay compensation.
Advice:
Regarding divorce, our advice is to try to improve the situation by speaking with his family or someone he respects. Additionally, try to be patient with him and avoid anything that might provoke his anger. Since your marriage is still relatively new, it is possible that you both have not yet understood each other well.
This approach is better than rushing into divorce, especially if there are children involved.
However, if you fear for your safety due to his severe violence, you may need to consider more serious solutions, but this depends on the nature of the problems and their causes.
Know that these matters are tests from Allah to distinguish the sincere believers from others. You should trust in Allah and have certainty in His support, as He says: (Allah is the protector of those who believe). If you turn to Him and trust in His management of your affairs, He will guide you towards goodness and righteousness. You should face difficulties with a strong and assured spirit, as you are relying on Allah and trusting in Him.
Take care of your children and manage your relationship with your husband wisely, hoping that he will soften or return to justice and truth. If you are patient and pious, Allah will provide you with a way out and reward you greatly, bringing goodness in this world and the Hereafter.
If possible, consult wise and experienced people you trust to explore the best path to a solution. Allah will surely make ease after hardship, if He wills.
May you be successful in all that is good.
