Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may Allah protect him):
In the case presented, unless the travel for work is a daily occurrence, except for official holidays for at least three months, or at least once every ten days for a year, one should shorten their prayers and not fast.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani (may Allah protect him):
If one travels frequently, they must fast and complete their prayers during all their travels. Frequent travel is defined as someone who travels outside for work or other purposes at least ten times a month for ten days, or travels for at least ten days in a month, whether through two or three trips, with the intention to continue this pattern for six months from one year, or for three months over two years or more. In such cases, they complete their prayers and fast, but during the first two weeks of their travels, it is recommended to combine shortening and completing prayers, as well as fasting and making up missed fasts. However, if they travel four times a month or travel for seven days or less, the ruling is to shorten their prayers. If they travel eight times in a month or travel for eight or nine days, it is strongly recommended to combine shortening and completing prayers.
