What should I do if I have an injury on the parts of my body that I wash for wudu before the time ends, and I am unsure if it will heal by the end of the time? Should I switch to using the wudu of a bandage, perform tayammum, or what? [AR_ID:2924]

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Sistani (may God protect him):

The wudu of a bandage is not valid. You can wash the injured part under the tap, and when you reach the area of the wound, apply pressure to stop the bleeding momentarily. After the water has passed over it, the bleeding will not harm you, even if it is significant.

Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Khamenei (may God protect him):

If you pour water and it stops for a moment, then the water flows over it with the intention of wudu or washing, it is sufficient, and you do not need to switch to tayammum.

May you be successful in all good.
