Ayatollah Khamenei (may God protect him):
1-2) There is contemplation and precaution in determining the age of menopause, so it is necessary to observe caution after the age of fifty. However, one can refer to a jurist who issues a fatwa on this matter. In the absence of such a reference, caution should be exercised between the uncertain and the certain cases, and thus, the divorce is not valid if it occurs before three months have passed.

Ayatollah Sistani (may God protect him):
The age of menopause in menstruation is reached at sixty. Any bleeding a woman experiences after reaching sixty does not carry the same rulings. It is recommended to combine the prohibitions of menstruating women and the actions of those who experience irregular bleeding between the ages of fifty and sixty if the blood resembles what would be considered menstruation if seen before fifty.
As for the age of menopause that leads to the end of the waiting period after the cessation of bleeding and the lack of hope for its return due to the woman's old age, it is set at fifty years.
