It is necessary to interpret the terms of the narration, assuming it was issued by the Imam (peace be upon him), to indicate other meanings. It is certain that the Imam does not intend these names to convey their usual or common meanings, as it would not even occur to a person's heart, let alone be intended by the infallible Imam (peace be upon him). Rather, these terms symbolize meanings that are beyond sensory perception due to the limited understanding of people and their lack of knowledge of astronomy at that time.
Thus, the whale, water, rock, bull, and soil do not refer to their familiar meanings; instead, they are indications of other meanings that may have some relation to astronomical and cosmic events:
The whale may refer to the orbit, as it is characteristic of a whale to swim in the sea.
The water may symbolize the space in which the Earth swims within its orbit during its constant motion.
The rock may refer to the galaxy in which the Earth and other planets and stars reside.
The bull may symbolize the arrangement of galaxies in the universe, likening it to a bull due to the completeness of its being or the site of the eruption and intensity of those galaxies.
As for the horn of the bull, it may refer to the galactic orbit...
May you be successful in all good.
