In my village, the mosque's caretaker sometimes delays or advances the call to prayer by a few minutes compared to the schedule provided by the leader's timetable. Should we follow the village's timing for prayer or the timetable? [AR_ID:2469]

Peace be upon you and God's mercy and blessings.

Ayatollah Khamenei (may God protect him):

The key factor is to be assured that the time for prayer has entered. If this assurance is obtained through the call of a trustworthy person who knows the time, then it is sufficient. Similarly, if it is obtained from the prayer times, that is also sufficient.

Ayatollah Sistani (may God protect him):

The key factor is to be assured that the time for prayer has entered. If this assurance is obtained through the call of a trustworthy person who knows the time, then it is sufficient. Similarly, if it is obtained from the prayer times, that is also sufficient.

May you be successful in all good.
