Assalamu alaykum,
Are long nails considered an adornment for females, and thus forbidden to show them in front of foreign men [non-mahram], keeping in mind that they are natural and free of artificial additives or external decorations?

Waalykum assalam,
According to both Grand Ayatollahs Sayyid al-Sistani and Sayyid al-Khamenei (may the Almighty prolong their lives):
In and of itself, there is nothing wrong with women lengthening their fingernails as long as it is not considered an adornment, and whether they are considered an adornment or not is determined by the common understanding ['urf], as nails may be long without being an adornment, while others may be long and arranged in a way that is considered an adornment even if there is nothing (additional) on them.
May the Almighty grant you tawfeeq in all of your affairs.
