Peace be upon you.

Ayatollah Khamenei (may Allah protect him):

Cunoot is recommended in all obligatory and supererogatory prayers, performed in the second rak'ah after reciting Al-Fatiha and the surah, before bowing. He raises his hands in supplication and prays; this act is called cunoot. However, in the Friday prayer, there are two cunoots: one in the first rak'ah before bowing and another in the second rak'ah after it. In the Eid prayers (Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha), there are five cunoots in the first rak'ah and four in the second.

Ayatollah Sistani (may Allah protect him):

Cunoot is recommended in all prayers, whether obligatory or supererogatory, except for the Shaf' prayer, where the recommendation for cunoot has not been established; it is safer to perform it with the intention of seeking its desirability. The recommendation for cunoot is emphasized in obligatory prayers, especially in the Fajr, Friday, and Maghrib prayers, and in the Witr of the supererogatory prayers. It is recommended to perform it once after the recitation before bowing in the second rak'ah. In the Friday prayer, there are two cunoots: one before bowing in the first rak'ah and another after it in the second. The cunoot is also repeated in the Eid prayers and during the signs (Ayat).

May you be successful in all good.
