Waalykum assalam,

According to Grand Ayatollah Sayyid al-Sistani (may the Almighty prolong his life):

It is better not to do so. However, such is impermissible if the imitation is a manifestation of abandonment of religion and separation from identity.

According to Grand Ayatollah Sayyid al-Khamenei (may the Almighty prolong his life):

If doing so is imitation of the enemies of Islam and promotion of their culture then it is not permissible, and this varies depending on the country, times, and people, and the West has no particularity in this matter.

May the Almighty grant you tawfeeq in all of your affairs
